In the Islamic Republic of Iran, freedom, independence, unity and the territorial integrity of the country are inseparable and it is incumbent upon the government and on every person to preserve them. No individual, group or official is authorized to undermine Iran’s political, cultural, economic and military independence and territorial integrity in the slightest form under the pretext of exercising freedom and no official is authorized to deprive mashru’ freedoms, albeit by enacting laws and regulations, in the name of preserving the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
